San Juan County Courthouse © Kathryn R. Burke Established before the turn of the last century, and kept in immaculate condition, the San Juan County Courthouse is still in use in Silverton today. Behind it is the Mining Heritage Museum, old jail, and county museum.	Historic Beaumont Hotel, Ouray, Colorado © James, Burke Built in 1886, the building fell into disrepair after being closed for 30 years. The hotel was purchased and carefully restored. Today, the elegant hotel is home to 12 rooms and suites, two restaurants, and several elegant shops at the ground level.
