Persons should be mobile and in good health, able to walk 2-4 miles in uneven terrain and hike 1/2 mile to one mile in high altitude mountain terrain. Persons requiring oxygen should not book this trip and cannot be accomodated.

Stay  hydrated! Remember to drink plenty of water, and avoid alcohol.

WHAT TO BRING - September
Equipment. This is a photography tour, so bring your camera (digital or film), any other photo equipment you need (including tripod, lenses, filters, flash). Be sure to pack plenty of film and/or memory disks for your digital camera, extra batteries and power charges if your camera uses one.

Clothing. Days start out cold and warm up to a sunny 60-70 degrees, then turn crisp again in the evening. It can and probably will rain or snow.
Layered clothing, water-proof, wind-proof jackets, head covering, gloves, warm socks and sturdy foot wear, and sunscreen recommended. Bring your bathing suit for the hot springs! Clothing should be lightweight, comfortable, easy to roll up and stick under the seat when the day warms up.

Misc. Bring a water bottle - we'll keep it filled for you, and a thermos for hot drinks. Plan to pack some trail mix or candy bars (available in town) if you need to watch your sugar levels. Remember to let us know when you book your tour if you have any dietary or health issues we should know about. Due to high altitude, we cannot accommodate anyone on oxygen or with serious health issues. For the same reason, alcohol use is discouraged.
